Qualifications:


Education, Training and Experience:


·  Front line experience working with Youth at risk preferred.

·  Minimum Grade 12 education

·  Education and experience working in the field of addictions preferred or an equivalent combination of education,   

   training and experience preferred.

·  Completion of Food Safe-Level 1

·  Valid First Aid Certificate

·  Valid Driver’s license (must be full license, no L or N please)


Skills and Abilities:


·  Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

·  Ability to deal with others effectively and work within a team environment.

·  Ability to remain awake and alert during night shifts. NO SLEEPING. Nights shifts focus mainly on cleaning and

   house maintenance while the clients are sleeping

·  Ability to operate related equipment.

·  Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

·  Ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients.

·  Ability to demonstrate flexibility in dealing with complex situation and to utilize appropriate assertiveness as necessary
