Who
We Are
The Founder and a group of
concerned mainstream and Aboriginal professional
community members formed the Spirit Bear Center Society
for the specific purpose of breaking the cycle among
Aboriginal Young Women from dependency on drugs and
alcohol and the effect of physical and sexual abuse an
alternative to the streets and suicide. These
individuals lend their expertise to Spirit Bear Center
Society to operate a 10 bed residential treatment and
wellness center for Aboriginal females between 13 and 19
years.
